We want you to be happy with Hostly. If you’re not, we want to make it right.
This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for your Hostly purchase.
The short version
30 days. No questions asked. Just email us.
If Hostly doesn’t work for your business within 30 days of purchase, reply to your purchase email or write to support@hostlybot.com and we’ll refund you in full. No interrogation, no exit survey, no guilt trip.
The detailed version
Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund of $97 USD if all of the following are true:
- Your refund request reaches us within 30 calendar days of your original purchase date (as recorded by Paddle)
- You contacted us via support@hostlybot.com or by replying to your purchase receipt email
- You have not previously received a refund for a Hostly purchase
That’s it. We do not require you to explain why you want a refund, though we appreciate honest feedback if you’re willing to share — it helps us improve.
How to request a refund
- Send an email to support@hostlybot.com
- Include the email address you used to purchase
- Optionally, briefly mention what didn’t work for you (helps us improve, not required)
We will:
- Acknowledge your request within 1 business day
- Process the refund within 5 business days
- Refunds are issued by Paddle (our merchant of record) to your original payment method
- Most refunds appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer
What happens after a refund
Once your refund is processed:
- Your Hostly license is deactivated
- You agree to uninstall and delete all copies of the plugin from any sites where it was installed
- You will no longer receive plugin updates
- Future purchases of Hostly remain available to you at the then-current price
What is NOT covered
We will decline refund requests in the following situations:
- Requests received more than 30 days after purchase. We are firm on this — please request within 30 days.
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us. If you dispute the charge with your bank before emailing us, we reserve the right to defend the chargeback. Always email us first — we’re much faster and friendlier than your bank.
- Repeated refund requests from the same customer for the same product. One refund per customer per product version.
- Refund requests based on misuse of the product (e.g., using it on more than 3 sites, violating our Terms of Service, attempting redistribution).
Edge cases we handle case-by-case
We use common sense for these situations. Email us:
- The plugin has a critical bug you can’t work around — even after 30 days, we want to know about this and may issue a refund or expedited fix.
- You purchased twice by accident — we’ll refund the duplicate immediately, no waiting period.
- A third-party service Hostly depends on (Anthropic, ElevenLabs) becomes unavailable in a way that meaningfully affects your use of the plugin — let’s talk.
- You bought as a gift and the recipient already had a license — we’ll refund.
Why we offer a generous refund policy
Honestly? Because we’d rather lose a sale than make you keep something that doesn’t fit your business. A bad customer experience hurts everyone — you, future buyers reading reviews, and us. We’d much rather hand you back $97 and ask “what didn’t work, and how can we fix it for the next person?”
If Hostly is going to be a serious product, we need real feedback from real customers — and a no-friction refund policy is how we earn that feedback honestly.

All Hostly transactions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our merchant of record. Refunds are issued by Paddle on our behalf. Paddle’s refund processing terms apply alongside this policy.
